Simon Everett, Ltd., is seeking international affairs experts to lead the instruction of dynamic regional familiarization courses at the U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute.


About the opportunity

Each course will cover political, economic, and cultural issues, as well as history and current events. Instructors will work with our team to develop a course syllabus and identify guest speakers to lead discrete modules on particular topics. Instructors must be available to teach the course in the Washington, DC, area several times a year for up to one week at a time.

Desired qualifications

The ideal candidate will have first-hand, practical knowledge gained through professional experience, research, and academic study. To demonstrate currency, regular travel to the region will be considered favorably. We prefer that candidates have instructional experience — especially with regard to adult, professional learners. A dynamic and creative instructional style and engaging communications are actively encouraged.
