Vineet Surapaneni designs and executes targeted research strategies to produce actionable insights for decision-makers in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. He has supported strategic planning and communications engagements for dozens of small and medium-sized businesses, ranging from manufacturers and engineering firms to consultancies in fields as diverse as defense, automotive, and information technology.
Vineet provides structured analytic support to clients working on international trade and development, cybersecurity, and economic development issues. He supports these engagements with intake and organization of qualitative and quantitative data, survey development and deployment, and concise presentation of strategic recommendations. Vineet has also worked on engagements that require translation, whether literal or figurative: from analyzing Arabic-language news content to guide a media client’s strategic programming, to producing workshop reports that make the highly technical — whether quantum physics , microelectronics, or special forces operations concepts — intelligible to the layperson.
Prior to joining Simon Everett, Vineet was a fellow at Harvard’s Center for Arabic Study Abroad, where he spent a year in Jordan reaching fluency in Arabic. He received bachelor’s degrees in economics, political science, and Arabic language and literature from the University of Texas at Austin. Vineet enjoys running, swimming, and climbing tall mountains.
